It’s your wedding day. The make-up artist has left and it is time put put your gown on. Oops, the gown brushes your impeccable face and there on the pristine white is a smudge of face powder! What do you do?
Jennifer Higgins, known as Miss Oops recommends that you use a Miss Oops Rescue Sponge and dry rub the stain. The sponge is known to remove powder marks and deodorant stains to an almost unnoticeable state.
Here are more tips:
- Every bride needs an Emergency Kit. The Kit should include Vaseline (To keep your lips from sticking to your teeth when you smile), Miss Oops Rescue Sponges, Mishap Tape (Great to hold up strapless gowns; keeps straps in place and repair fallen hems); and hand lotion (Everyone will be looking at your hands. The lotion will keep it soft and smooth)
- To avoid panty lines, wear a neutral colored thong (No, not white. White will show through the dress).
- Use chicken cutlets to get a nice shape in the bra area. Secure them with Mishap Tapes.
- DO NOT pop any pimples that may appear on or near the wedding day. She suggest that you wash the pimple and use a cover-up. Then add a bronzer, a little bit of powder and some blush.
The greatest piece of advice given is to enjoy your wedding day. If a mishap occur, take of it, let it go, smile and move on. Do not let small things ruin this important experience.
